The mission of the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center is to enhance the quality of life of Pleasanton residents and its surrounding communities by delivering a range of high-quality aquatic programs and activities that promote fitness, education, competition, and safety. We are dedicated to providing a safe environment for the novice to the serious swimmer.
Description of services provided:
The Dolores Bengtson (City of Pleasanton) Aquatic Center offers recreational, competitive, fitness, educational, and safety aquatics programs. The Aquatic Center is opened year-round, with summer programs being the busiest and most active. Patron health and safety and customer service are highest priorities at the Aquatic Center. Programs offered at the Aquatic Center include: lap swimming, water exercise classes, adult/teen swim lessons, competitive stroke classes, summer recreation swim team, and American Red Cross classes including: Parent and Child, Learn to Swim (Preschool and Levels 1 - 6), Longfellow's Swim Camp, Junior Guard, Lifeguard Training, Water Safety Instructor, and Basic Water Rescue classes.
