The Position: Under direction of the division Superintendents, the Program Assistant will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, assisting with invoice and purchasing entry and supporting the Operation Services management staff.
Time: This is a part-time, temporary position working 20 hours/week.
Mandatory Rules: Applications will be reviewed as they are received. The most qualified applicants will be invited for an interview. A reference check will be conducted prior to making an offer. Prior to starting employment, applicants selected for the positions will be required to undergo and successfully pass fingerprint checks by the City prior to starting employment.
Process and enter vendor invoices and credit card transactions into our financial system
Data entry into departments computerized maintenance management system
Facilitates client communication and responds to concerns
Answer incoming calls and provide any necessary customer assistance
Assists with walk-in customers with City services
Assists with presentations, reports, and special projects
Assists with other administrative duties as assigned
Assists with general office duties as needed
Maintains a well-informed working knowledge of the City of Pleasanton Operations
Services and our services provided to the residents
Performs other tasks as required
